We left the wine area of Bordeaux at 09.30. It was a cold morning, 11°! Heading for the Dordogne river, landing east of Bergerac in a small village called Montfort at just after 12 o'clock noon, checking in to the five star camping site, Domaine de Soleil Plage. It was quite a diffence, leaving the vineyards of Bordeaux arriving in the valley of Dorgogne. Had a good drive on the motorway but was slowed down by French Sunday drivers on the last bit of the way. Average speed 76 km/h at a consumption of 8.1 km/l - not impressive.
